THE PERFECT EVENING ROUTINE

For most of us, the working day ends between 4 and 6 p.m. Then we might go shopping, or some might go straight to the gym or do another leisure activity. And then? Home, eat, Netflix, sleep. Doesn't sound so bad actually. And yet our evenings are often just as "packed" as during the day. And we don't get any rest, the basis for a restful sleep.
 
That's why we've thought of a few points for you to help you end the day in a relaxed manner:

➕ Clean up! Then you'll have it behind you and won't have to do it the next morning, which could stress you out! It's also much easier if you finish your meal preps or other things that you would otherwise have to do before work now. Afterwards, you'll have mentally ticked it off and will be able to calm down better.
 
➕ Start dimming the lights in your apartment a little bit to slowly prepare yourself for bedtime.  
  Do you have a fragrance diffuser? Then treat yourself to a scent with lavender - it has a very calming effect!
➕ Roll out your mat and do a quick, gentle yoga session or meditate for a while.
 
➕ Get ready, maybe take a warm shower, and get into bed. Read 1-2 chapters of your favorite book.
 
*GOOD NIGHT*
 
IMPORTANT : Your cell phone should be set to "Do not disturb" and play as small a role as possible in your evening routine. It also has no place in the bedroom. Set your alarm clock and place it a few meters away from the bed, still within earshot, or even better in the hallway or next room. Because that will make it easier for you to get up the next morning! ;-)
